| Why wonder why the people in the british island are so anti-european? Doesn't they feel that they also belong to the european family? They have a distinct mentality, but so do have the latvians from the greeks, the bulgarians from the portuguese, but neverthelees, all these people feel, think and try to act as true europeans.
Is there anyone who could answer this, please?

| I am not sure that the Britons are so europhobic that we might believe. Only their governments are eurosceptic, because they are useful agents of the USA. | |

| They do fell Europeans, or at least part of an European culture, just as the Americans do. However, they consider, and they are probably right, that the anglo-saxon world is still strong enough to be a power alone, without having to share it with their fellow Europeans. | |

| I agree with all of you, but don't you think that it would be utopic to expect having the english people with a true will to unite with the rest of us, europeans? In fact they are too attached to the US. On the other hand, if Scotland become independent, they will enter for sure to the EU, to make a stand against the english imperialistic pretension. And the same would occur with Wales. This lead us to think that some nations must become independent to get united in wider space, the european nation. | |

| Scotland, Cornwales, Wales... out of United Kingdom... would easily join the European Nation. But I do not doubt that the Britons themselves, opposed to their own governement, shall want to join the E.N. | |

| an independant Scotland would probabbly be pro-european, but they will never be independant, too poor, too historically linked to UK
as far as Wales are concerned, they is almost any independantist party there

What ? The old nationalisms are almost dead. All the europeans have vocation to join the european nation.

| It does not exist yet
I've also noticed you wish a similar future for France, it sounds strange to me because on the one hand you say France is a dictatorial nation due to the collapse of regional cultures by its fault (and that's true indeed), but on the other hand you want Europe to get the same status. Am i wrong ?

| I am not strongly regionalist. The division of Europe on my opinion is: the european state-nation, which would have the political, economical and social powers, and the euro-regions, which would have as a goal to protect the identities, traditions and minority languages. | |
